Vinton Volunteer Fire Department

Functions

The Vinton Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects residents and businesses within the corporate limits of the town, eastern Roanoke County, and some parts of Bedford and Botetourt counties. The department serves primarily during weeknights, weekends and holidays and protects a primarily residential area using the 911 dispatch method with the following services:

  • Fire
  • Extrication
  • Hazardous materials
  • Search and rescue

Volunteer Department Members

Volunteer members of all ages and from all walks of life serve in the department.
