Due to the extensive downing of branches and other foliage caused by the derecho storm, Vinton Public Works will be picking up storm debris for 30 days after the storm event of June 29, 2012 with our bulk waste services and allowing town citizens to haul their downed brush and debris of less than six inches in diameter to our public works yard (804 3rd Street, Vinton) during that same time.
