Due to the severe storm that struck the Vinton area on Monday, July 4th, many residents suffered significant tree damage. Public Works staff is concentrating on collecting the fallen limbs and branches placed out for pickup. Other bulk items will be deferred for collection until later in the week (or on your regularly scheduled pickup day next week) so we can concentrate on the storm damage.
